Walt!! Congrats on the Rebel XT! You made a VERY wise choice to go with an DSLR Canon IMHO. I use the EOS 30D and I LOVE it!
The pictures look great so far. It gets really fun when you start shooting manual and RAW format...worlds of post-processing options open up before you.
Looking forward to seeing your works of art. I'll call you soon to arrange a meet too. Maybe a photo outing is in order too? :)
